At Ballantyne Dentistry, Dr. Parker Black believes exceptional dentistry begins with listening, earning trust, and helping patients feel at ease.

A proud alumnus of the University of Georgia, Dr. Black earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Dental College of Georgia. He then completed a post-graduate residency with advanced surgical training at Richland Memorial Hospital. During his residency, he earned his IV sedation license and received extensive training in complex restorative care, implant dentistry, and endodontics.

Dr. Black understands firsthand how overwhelming a visit to the dentist can feel. After breaking a front tooth during a basketball game and having a difficult experience getting it repaired, he developed an even deeper appreciation for compassionate, patient-centered care.

Known for his calm and attentive approach, Dr. Black takes time to listen to each patient’s concerns, goals, and comfort level. He offers multiple forms of sedation to help even anxious patients receive the care they need with greater confidence and less stress.

Whether a patient needs restorative treatment, implant care, or help addressing a dental problem, Dr. Black creates personalized treatment plans designed to restore health, function, and confidence.

Outside the office, Dr. Black enjoys time with his wife, Lily, cooking, camping, and hosting friends and family. He also stays active through working out, golfing, swimming, fishing, and following college basketball and football. He is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Charlotte community and help patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
